VOGUE UK ONLINE FASHION WEEK
Hey Dolls;
After the super success of Vogues Fashion Night IN last year, Vogue UK have taken it a step further this year and will launch Vogue.co.uk's ONLINE FASHION WEEK, next week!
What does this mean for us? Errrrr well fashion right from our sofas for starters, with the chilly weather, the hustle and bustle of crazy Christmas shoppers, I will be welcoming Online Fashion Week with open arms as I sit in my pyjamas with a big mug of hot chocolate (and cream) and my credit card right beside me!
It will all kick off at 9am on Monday with designers including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Mulberry, Stella McCartney, Prada, Burberry, Miu Miu and Christian Louboutin. High street brands - from Topshop and Reiss, Gap and Urban Outfitters - and boutiques and department stores, including Matches, Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, Browns, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, for the shopping extravaganza. Every company is offering special online events, prizes, discounts or free gifts - and with every single purchase you'll be helping a charity of your choice! Excellent this sounds sweeter by the second.
Online Fashion Week is first of its kind, hundreds of retailers have come on board to offer exclusive and limited edition collections, stunning competitions and never-seen-before content, all for us- I feel so special!

Kate Moss does Vogue Paris December 2011
Hey hey my Lovelies;
I have finally seen this months edition of Vogue Paris and I totally J'adore! Kate Moss is barely recognisable as she recreates David Bowie's 1970's persona Ziggy Stardust for the cover.
Captured perfectly by Mert & Marcus with the signature fiery orange mullet and no eyebrows, those chiseled cheekbones and mysteriously piercing stare, wearing a glamorous Balmain metallic dress the only give away that it is actually Kate Moss is the anchor tattoo on her wrist.
This issue of French Vogue is dedicated to music and also features Debbi Harry, Bryan Ferry, Ciara, Kanye West, Boy George, Janelle Monae as well as Lou Reed and Lenny Kravitz's choices of Christmas songs.
I think Moss looks ahhh-mazing to say the least, so in true Ziggy style:
"Let the children lose it, let the children use it, let all the children boogie!"

H&M Collaboration with Marni, Spring 2012
JUST CONFIRMED!
Marni have just confirmed as the next designer collaboration with H&M.
The collection will launch from March 8th next year in 260 stores and online. The designs were created by Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni who has infused Marni's signature prints and quirky aesthetic into the collaboration which will include both womenswear and menswear.
Creative Advisor for H&M is also pleased to be working with the Italian fashion house, she said in a statement:
"We all love the collection here at H&M and we believe that our customers will do the same. Marni has such a modern touch with everything they do, mixing prints and accessories in a playful but chic way. It's fantastic to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, matching new combinations of print and colour, with such incredible craftsmanship behind every piece. The collection will arrive in stores at just the perfect time, as a lovely statement for spring."

Gisele does Vogue UK December 2011
Hello my Lovelies;
It has been a while since I posted, It has been very hectic time with my newborn son, travelling and trying to catch up on all the fashion week(s)!! Fear not, fashion may not wait for anyone but we all know style is eternal so hopefully I shall be getting back into the swing of things and posting much more.
For now, here is a sneak peak at Gisele on the cover of VOGUE UK, December 2011. The Brazilian beaut is captured by genius Mario Testino. Sporting a pair of metallic rainbow coloured trousers, crisp white shirt and blinged out with studded gold jewels, Gisele shines bright for the festive issue.

Recessionista Mode: Alexander Wang vs Zara

In these testing times, having an uber long luxe wish list is no good, especially as it seems to grow longer and longer on a weekly basis, hence why I have gone into recessionista mode and on the lookout for some frugal alternatives of some of the hottest looks at the moment, this way we can keep our look and bank balance in check..!
The Anais metallic leather loafer pumps by Alexander Wang are hot to trot especially as the loafer pump is a hot hot trend this fall, but at $650 a pair, it is bitter sweet.

All hail Zara who have done a cheaper alternative, they have managed to do a version which is just as graceful and innovative as Wangs creation! At 69.99 a pair, this is definitely a steal!

Missoni for Target: The FULL Lookbook!
Hello my Lovelies
Finally, here it is: the full look book for the Missoni for Target 2011 collection, with an epic 400 pieces to chose from, we may be here awhile!
From scarves to shoes to home-ware and kitchenware, we see storage boxes and candles, to mod style clothing, all donned in the colour stripes and zany zig zag patterns that will make anyone giddy with excitement. All moderately priced this colossal collection hits the stores September 13th through to October 22nd and is available online also or until stocks last, which after perusing this look book won't be too long!
