H&M Collaboration with Marni, Spring 2012

JUST CONFIRMED!

Marni have just confirmed as the next designer collaboration with H&M. 

The collection will launch from March 8th next year in 260 stores and online. The designs were created by Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni who has infused Marni's signature prints and quirky aesthetic into the collaboration which will include both womenswear and menswear. 

Creative Advisor for H&M is also pleased to be working with the Italian fashion house, she said in a statement:  

"We all love the collection here at H&M and we believe that our customers will do the same. Marni has such a modern touch with everything they do, mixing prints and accessories in a playful but chic way. It's fantastic to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, matching new combinations of print and colour, with such incredible craftsmanship behind every piece. The collection will arrive in stores at just the perfect time, as a lovely statement for spring."

VERSACE for H&M

Hello my Lovelies;

Donatella Versace has officially confirmed that Versace is the latest fashion house to collaborate with H&M, following the huge success of the Lanvin for H&M collaboration last year. 

The Versace for H&M collaboration is to include both womenswear and menswear, as well as homeware. The collection will be a homage to Gianni, the late brother of Donatella, and she plans to take inspiration from the Versace archives. She has named the collaboration collection as an  'Iconic Collection' rather than a diffusion line. 

Donatella commented:

"I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching its wide audience, the collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere."

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M said that Versace's designs will be ultra glamorous and iconic: "Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant - everything Versace stands for, Donatella Versace is sharing with us iconic designs from the archives. This is such a celebratory collaboration and is perfect for the party season." 

The collaboration will launch in stores on November 17th in 300 stores worldwide - put it in your diaries folks!
