H&M Collaboration with Marni, Spring 2012

JUST CONFIRMED!

Marni have just confirmed as the next designer collaboration with H&M. 

The collection will launch from March 8th next year in 260 stores and online. The designs were created by Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni who has infused Marni's signature prints and quirky aesthetic into the collaboration which will include both womenswear and menswear. 

Creative Advisor for H&M is also pleased to be working with the Italian fashion house, she said in a statement:  

"We all love the collection here at H&M and we believe that our customers will do the same. Marni has such a modern touch with everything they do, mixing prints and accessories in a playful but chic way. It's fantastic to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, matching new combinations of print and colour, with such incredible craftsmanship behind every piece. The collection will arrive in stores at just the perfect time, as a lovely statement for spring."

It has been a while since I posted, It has been very hectic time with my newborn son, travelling and trying to catch up on all the fashion week(s)!! In these testing times, having an uber long luxe wish list is no good, especially as it seems to grow longer and longer on a weekly basis, hence why I have gone into recessionista mode and on the lookout for some frugal alternatives of some of the hottest looks at the moment, this way we can keep our look and bank balance in check..!

The Anais metallic leather loafer pumps by Alexander Wang are hot to trot especially as the loafer pump is a hot hot trend this fall, but at $650 a pair, it is bitter sweet.
